Schoolhouse cross stitch

Today we went to the schoolhouse in Dundee. It was great to see the girls smiling faces as they learned to cross stitch. Though it was a challenging tasks there were many small successes and everyone learned a great skill. Did you know teachers could not go to ice cream stores and had to fuel the fire every day?

First meeting

We had our first meeting today.  It went great and the girls really responded well.  We earned our fair play badge after the girls do one homework assignment.  They need to watch a sports game and figure out how the scores work.  They will be sharing ideas at the next meeting in October.

Welcome to 2012-2013 year

Today is the first meeting.  We are meeting at Briagate from 3:00 to 4:15.  I can't wait to shape the girls into leaders of tomorrow.
